Pranav , our little artist is 11 years old and he loves to play with colors in unconventional always. He finds brushes boring and likes to paint with - hand, Sponges, chains, knife,thread and every days items. Pranav was diagnosed with Down syndrome when he was 2 days old. We were fortunate that it was diagnosed early and with that, we had full support of our families and extended families and friends. In almost no time we were thinking about how to make Pranav perform to the best of his abilities . Met a lot of inspiring people in the journey who kept telling us that it is not our disabilities but our “ ABILITIES that DEFINE US. He has made us better HUMAN. He has made his siblings compassionate and loving specially towards those who are different than them . Pranav Goes to inclusive school setup. He has participated in many National and three international Art Exhibitions . Won many prizes and sold more than 200 art pieces. In addition to art, Pranav loves to play badminton, cricket and he is a skating champ. Has won gold in Down Syndrome National games. He recently won - Excellence Award in the field of ART by Down Syndrome Federation of India. Pranav’s paintings are full of life and ooze a sense of positivity and optimism
